On behalf of Turtle Run Golf Club, I want to thank you for your patronage and being a valued customer of our course. The health and safety of our customers and employees has always been our highest and most important priority. The club is taking a number of actions and initiatives to address the ongoing COVID-19 Coronavirus concerns, including:
• We are carefully monitoring the situation and following the guidance of the World Health Organization as well as national and local authorities.
• As a service provider we have always, and will continue to, take seriously the cleanliness of all our public areas as well as back of the house, and all touch points our customers and employees may contact.
• We have met with our employees and they remain dedicated to going above and beyond with regimented cleaning processes to create an immaculate environment for you to enjoy. Our staff is also following the health authorities’ best practices, like frequent hand washing and staying home if they are feeling ill.
• While we continue to welcome customers to Turtle Run, we will need to make some changes to the normal processes and procedures you are accustomed too. I hope that all of you recognize that this is in the best interest of our staff and all of you.
Club Storage – As of now we will be suspending the cleaning of golf clubs until further notice. You are more than welcome to keep your golf clubs in storage if you have already paid for that service.
Golf Carts – We will be focusing on taking extra care in cleaning the golf carts before and after use. The focus will be on extra cleaning of the steering wheels and touch points within the golf carts.
Extra Garbage Cans – We will have extra garbage cans outside of the cart wash area when carts are available. We ask that when you have returned your golf cart you empty out all of your trash. Please throw away all trash, beer bottles, beer cans, bottle tops, and especially any food and cigarette butts (yes for some reason lots of people leave their cigarette butts in the golf carts).
Handling of money – Turtle Run now has the capability of taking on-line payments for tee times and gift certificates. As a precaution to our staff and yourself, you have the ability to make a tee time on our website www.turtlerungolfclub.com and pay for it when you book. I would suggest you call the golf shop first to make sure we are open and then book and pay for your round on-line. It is an option going forward if you feel more comfortable doing so. We are also going to allow anyone to put a credit card on file which they can charge things too immediately upon purchase.
As we continue to operate during these trying times, rest assured that we will continue to put proactive efforts into place so that Turtle Run Golf Club remains safe and comfortable for all of our customers and employees. If we all work together there should be no reason we cannot continue to operate and offer you a place to enjoy. I hope that all of you and your families stay safe!
